2004 - Year in Brief!

Merry Christmas!

Spike back on deck at ADFA lecturing again from July ending his year of sabbatical.  Enjoying his job more and more on the research side looking at computer games.

Both Maria and Spike celebrate their 40th…. Maria tries to feed Spike to the cheetahs at the Zoo and Spike tries to dispose of Maria in a hot air balloon.  True love!

Zoe elected to Student Rep council again this year in term 4.

Grant starts Kindy and by the middle of the year is running the class.

Zoe and Grant play soccer this year and Grant’s soccer gene is discovered.

Zoe develops a love of rollerblading and blades from the moment she wakes to the time she goes to bed.

Spike takes on the role of coach for both Grant and Zoe’s soccer team and has a ball!

Maria finally takes the plunge and enrolls at the school of art in a life drawing course.  Loads of frustration but loads of fun… what an eye opener.

Maria starts part-time work at a local primary school as a teacher’s assistant and loves it.  She goes from two to three mornings a week and hopes to do the same next year.  Still manages to fit tennis in one morning a week.

Zoe has a week off school to have an adventure with her Uncle Tony in Cowra.  Catches one turtle and a 50 cm carp and bonds with baby Harry (now 2yrs old).
The family plans a trip to Japan next year with dates to be decided.

Merry Christmas!
